Details of competition
Aatthichoodi recitation (Bharathiyaar and avvaiyaar allowed) Non-competitive event.(2 min per participant)
Thalaippu -Oru thirukkuralum adan needhi vilakkamum- 7- 8 years-(2 min per participant) ( At the time of registration, the participant will have to let us know the thirukural they have chosen to speak on. If his/her thirukkural is already taken they have to choose a different one. We have to make for provisions in the registration process)
The following competitions will be held in two categories:
- Category A : 9-11 years
- Category B : 12 years and above
JAM (ஒரு நிமிடப் போட்டி)
(situation plots will be given at the venue. No use of non-Tamil words, no stopping or pausing, no stammering or stuttering and no repeating of ideas. Judges discretion final)
Spelling bee (வார்த்தை விளையாட்டு)
(Participant will be scored for writing the word on board, saying aloud its meaning in English or Tamil and using it in a sentence to make meaning. Judges discretion final. Model word list will be provided on registration)
The following competitions are for everyone above 5 yrs:
Group Discussion (கலந்துரையாடல்)
Patterned on Neeya Naana style. Topics to be given at the venue. (children of all ages above 5 yrs are welcome to join)
